Weekly G.A.T
This weeks topic: Shyness
Can you name the feeling that a person might have if they really want to join a game of hopscotch but they do not feel brave enough to go up to the group and ask to play?
What about when someone wants to join a sports team, but does not know any of the other kids playing?
That feeling is SHY.
Think about a time when you have felt shy.
What does being shy look like?
What does being shy sound like?
If someone is feeling shy what might they be worried about?
Think about these scenarios and rate them from 1 to 5 on how shy that a person might feel:
1. Not shy 2. Might be shy 3. A little bit Shy 4. Shy 5. Very shy
Scenario 1: Going from second to third grade in your school.
Scenario 2: Going to a new school where you do not know anyone.
Scenario 3: Talking about a favorite movie.
BIG QUESTION:
Why is it important to make friends with someone that is a new student in your school or class?
